I’m often asked how high to hang a chandelier over a dining table or pendants over a kitchen island. There are general guidelines to use, but often it comes down to preference. Typically, a chandelier is hung about 30′ to 36″ above a table, My dining room chandelier (shown) is actually 37″ above the table.
